Our experience can affect us in many ways, hard for us to understand. We feel stuck, frustrated, stressed or without hope. Our bodies respond to those feelings in mysterious ways, possibly making us physically sick and making life and daily functioning even more difficult. That's where therapy can help: it helps to have someone to listen with an open mind, without judgement and without expectations on us to make quick changes. It takes another person to help us find our true self, ways to move on, and to feel connected again: to ourselves and to one another.
It happens that our life experience becomes more of a challenge than we are ready to handle and we feel desperately alone with those feelings. Sometimes, we can’t make sense of where our feelings come from and it surprises or even scares us.
Sometimes it is important to hear ourselves through another person, who understands the burden of what you carry, regardless of how difficult and dark your feelings are.

My name is Kasia and I am an accredited Integrative Counsellor, which means that I am trained in a number of modalities: the Humanistic, the Psychodynamic and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) to be able to support clients with a vast array of needs.
I am passionate about counselling and I am constantly learning and improving my skills.
I am bi-lingual: I work with English and with Polish-speaking clients.
I am also a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the National Counselling Society (NCS), which means that I adhere to ethical values of the counselling profession at all times.
